Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Fall 2026 semester (Class start date 09/08/2026).
Course:This writing-intensive course examines the role of governance and ethics within information technology. Topics include understanding and satisfying Sarbanes/Oxley, preparing for an information technology audit, complying with government regulations such as HIPAA, and understanding data-privacy issues. Students examine real-world case studies.
What You Will Do- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
- Preferred:
PhD/DBA Information Systems or Doctorate in an Information Systems related discipline. - Minimum:
Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or Masters in Information Systems AND- 5 or more years computer information systems experience.
