Early Head Start Lead

Early Head Start provides early education for children birth to 3 years old,parent involvement and family support, and comprehensive health and nutrition education for children. The Lead Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing based on the needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond!

• Create! Develop fun,interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool childreninyour class.
• Call the shots! Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation,plusbe an expert on all licensing guidelines, company standards and Headstart program requirements.
• Communicate! Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.

Wewant energetic, dependable, passionate individualswhoare at least 18 andhave :

• Associate’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or CDA in Infant / Toddler
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
