** Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/

Essential Functions:

*** Support and promote GCU’s Doctrinal Statement
* Execute weekly event operations
* Present on trained information to groups of guests
* Provide positive and safe experience for guests
* Ensure inventory is adequate per event
* Ensure rooms are adequately cleaned and prepared for events
* Additional Tasks as assigned
** Equipment Used and Responsibility:
*** MS Office Suite
* Point of Sales (POS) systems
* Sky Touch
*
* Qualifications:

*** Experience with youth, preferably in a camp environment
* Flexibility and enthusiasm a must
* Excellent communication skills
* Outgoing and comfortable speaking in front of various groups
* Campus living and extracurricular activities within GCU strongly preferred to be able to provide first-hand experience to visitors
* Open weekend availability is a must
* Must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week

Education:

** Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
* Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
* Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
* Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
* You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.

Purpose:

** The purpose of this role is to serve as a GCU Ambassador to prospective students who attend the Discover GCU trip.
