We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team and provide exceptional educational services to students with special needs in grades K–12. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, you will play a key role in planning and implementing individualized programs, delivering specialized instruction, and collaborating with general education staff to ensure student success.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
Provide direct instruction and support tailored to student needs
Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and district regulations
Participate in team meetings and contribute to program planning
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
Valid state teaching certificate as required by state/district regulations
Preferred certifications:
Standard Elementary Teaching
Standard Secondary Teaching
Standard Special Teaching
Endorsement:
Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1)Minimum of one year teaching experience (preferred)
Compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements
Current CPR certification, TB test, and health certificate (as applicable)
Must be at least 18 years of age
