Special Education Teacher – $50/hr – Phoenix, AZ

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide quality services to students in a preschool inclusion classroom. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, this role supports individualized instruction, collaborates with general education staff, and ensures compliance with all federal, state, and district guidelines.

• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (30-min lunch)

• Duration: 36 weeks

• Pay Rate: $50/hour

• Modality:
  In-person

• Caseload:
  Preschool students with para support and a former teacher volunteering in the classroom

• Provide specialized instruction and support in an inclusion setting
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
• Assist in planning and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred
• Valid Arizona teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement
• Minimum one year of teaching experience preferred
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Current CPR, TB questionnaire, and health certificate if applicable
• Must be at least 18 years of age
