Course:Finding Success as a Manufacturing Specialist
This course is designed to provide the essential skills needed to thrive in the semiconductor industry as a manufacturing specialist. Students will be introduced to topics such as pre‑apprenticeship, career preparation, industry‑specific skillsets, an overview of the semiconductor industry, key company leaders, and emerging trends. Business basics and financial literacy (loans, interest rates, cash flow) will also be covered. Project management and MS Office tools will be emphasized.

- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
Preferred: Semiconductor Manufacturing experience
Minimum: Master's in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years of industry experience OR Bachelor's in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering with 5-7 years of industry experience.
