Special Education Coordinator – Phoenix, Arizona

Great Hearts Academies is hiring Special Education Coordinators for three locations in Phoenix, Arizona.

Locations: Phoenix, Arizona (3 locations)

• Planning and providing specially designed instruction to students receiving special education and related services.
• Collaborating with related service providers and general education staff in the implementation三肖 of accommodations and modifications.
• Drafting and maintaining IEPs, Prior Written Notices, and evaluation paperwork, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Planning and facilitating meetings throughout the special education process.
• Ongoing communication and collaboration with parents, staff, and administrative staff regarding student planning and progress.
• Managing the transition of new enrollees eligible for special education and related services.

• Bachelor's degree and a valid Arizona certification in Special Education (mild to moderate, cross‑categorical, learning disability, or intern/alternative).
• Proficiency in the use of technology.
• Commitment to and love for the liberal arts.
• At least one year of teaching in Special Education is preferred.
