Position:
Outreach Analyst 2 – Part‑time

Job Summary: Develops community outreach program activities and coordinates program fundraising to promote stable and productive relationships between the university and local community.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Essential Duties
  • This position will assist with conducting research and develop training curriculum about sex trafficking for group/foster homes including conducting focus groups, note taking, report writing, literature review, assisting with making audio and video recordings, and working with a diverse team of experts.
  • May supervise, train and evaluate assigned staff including student workers/interns. Perform tasks related to the specific function/program assigned, such as tracking event attendance, focus group and interview note taking, development of materials or other unique projects.
  • Interacts and maintains liaison with students, faculty, staff and outside/community agencies in facilitating human trafficking research and training curriculum development.
  • Maintains direct contact with personnel of various outside organizations and university departments associated with scheduled function/program. Represents the college/department and serves on various department and university committees. Attends seminars, workshops and conferences. Provides assistance and information to faculty, staff and outside organizations regarding human trafficking activities conducted by ASU STIR Office. Serves as a representative of ASU STIR to ensure all aspects of function/program are implemented and controlled according to plans.

  • Experience delivering trainings, workshops, or educational programs to youth or youth‑serving adults.
  • Experience working with youth in foster care, group homes, or other high‑risk populations.
  • Knowledge of issues pertaining to human trafficking.
  • Knowledge of sexual abuse prevention, exploitation dynamics, and youth protection frameworks.
  • Ability to teach sensitive content in age‑appropriate, culturally responsive ways.
  • Comfort with research methods, data collection, and reporting.
Working Environment

Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse; required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds. Some work is off‑site setting up tables and distributing materials to the public.

Driving is not required for this position.

Compensation

Maximum pay depends on experience: $25,000.00 annual. Position hourly rate $24.04 per hour.
