Pay Rate: $50 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality educational services to preschool students with developmental needs. This role focuses on supporting students ages 3–5 in a structured, nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with general education staff and participate in planning and implementing individualized student programs, including specialized instruction and consultation.

• Deliver engaging and effective instruction tailored to students’ individual education plans (IEPs).
• Provide tutorial assistance and collaborate with general education teachers to ensure inclusive practices.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as professional standards of practice.
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment for students and families.

• Developmental Preschool setting
• Approximately 12 students per 3-hour session (AM and PM classes)

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state regulations
• Special Education certification (preferred)
• Endorsement:
  Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred
• Minimum of one year teaching experience (preferred)
• Current CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB clearance and health certificate per state requirements
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
