Overview
Camp Coach at Kid Strong – Paradise Valley, AZ (part-time or seasonal opportunities).
The Role & Schedule- We are looking for a camp coach with an athletic or coaching background, ideally with experience in summer camps or coaching kids ages 4 - 9.
- Coach focuses on coaching children on brain, physical, and character development from a designed camp curriculum.
- Ideal candidate must be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding incidents during camp.
- Camps typically run when school is out, from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. Hours may vary by location. Opportunity to increase hours through private parties and additional classes.

- Lead camp activities for up to 20 children, ages 4 - 9.
- Teach the Kid Strong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team.
- Ensure camp starts and ends on schedule; maintain appropriate pace of curriculum.
- Greet students and parents/guardians on arrival.
- Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor.
- Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises.
- Keep accurate attendance records.
- Maintain cleanliness of the center (lobby, bathrooms, floors); manage trash, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing equipment at shift end.
- Use the KS Coach’s App to record class data and provide records to parents (attendance, awards, etc.).
- Communicate professionally with teammates in company messaging systems.
- Complete required training through Learn Upon as directed by HQ.
- Be able to work in a physically intensive environment; may move equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Work hands-on with kids to ensure proper technique and safety.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings as required by Kid Strong Director.
- Obtain camp-certified status from HQ Training and Certification.
- Supervision, safety, and program implementation for campers, ensuring well-being of all children.
- Passion for working with children.
- Prior experience coaching students in the appropriate Kid Strong age range preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics preferred.
- CPR certified.
- Positive, motivating interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-starter who gets the job done.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per day.
