Speech Language Pathology Assistant

AB Staffing is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2025/2026 school year.

Requirements:

• Active Arizona SLPA license
• Must be able to obtain and hold a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• At least one year of recent relevant experience preferred
• School and IEP experience is preferred but not required
• Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and demonstrate initiative
• Physical ability to stand or sit for extended periods, see and read printed and digital materials, hear and understand speech, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 40 pounds occasionally

Job Description:

Caseload and classroom type vary based on school location. Contract through the 2025/2026 school year – 37.5 to 40 hours per week, following the academic district calendar.

Position Overview: Provide speech and language therapy services to support students' communication and learning skills.

Essential Functions:

• Assist with screenings and evaluations under the supervision of the SLP
• Identify students needing speech or language services and implement individualized plans
• Provide direct therapy addressing treatment goals
• Collect data, document student performance, and report progress timely
• Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum-based materials
• Create engaging learning environments fostering social, physical, and intellectual growth

Salary: $1,400.00 – $1,600.00/week
