*** Job Description
** Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Worldwide campus is currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach COMD 219 – Speech in person at our Mesa, AZ campus.
** Course Description
** Foundational theories and practices of communication, including public speaking, content, delivery, and design. Section emphasis may vary by instructor.
* Please note that ERAU policy requires that all adjuncts be physically located within the United States while working for the University, including during training. Presently, we are able to support work for new adjuncts from all U.S. states except
** California**.  ERAU does not support work from international locations with some limited exceptions for individuals who are residing and working from U.S. military bases.
** If selected for this role, the candidate will be required to provide proof of stated qualifications. This includes, but is not limited to, official transcripts, copies of professional licenses/certifications, documentation of military experience, and/or verified professional industry related experience.*# Qualifications
** Applicant Qualifications
** Doctor’s or Master’s degree in teaching discipline, or a Masters degree with a concentration in teaching discipline (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).

** Degrees Within the Teaching Discipline:
** Speech, Communication, and Communication Studies
** Related Discipline:
** Rhetoric, English, Education with a cognate in Speech or Communication Studies, Applied linguistics, and Applied Communication Arts.
