To ensure all students learn the basic and essential skills at each grade level.

• Current Arizona Elementary Certificate with Middle School Math Approved Area, or Secondary Certificate with Mathematics as an Approved Area.
• Knowledge of State and National Standards.
• Other qualifications as deemed appropriate by the Board.

• Instruct assigned classes at designated locations and times.
• Plan lessons that meet individual student needs.
• Create a conducive learning environment.
• Prepare for classes and demonstrate readiness upon request.
• Guide students toward curriculum goals, establishing clear objectives.
• Employ various instructional techniques and media.
• Implement district educational philosophy and goals.
• Assess student progress regularly and report accordingly.
• Identify learning issues and seek specialist assistance if needed.
• Maintain safety and proper records.
• Prepare students for assessments like AIMS.
• Develop classroom rules and maintain order.
• Be available to students and parents outside instructional hours as needed.
• Participate in professional development.
• Supervise students during the school day.
• Stay informed about policies and statutes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
