About the Role
Reporting to the Academic Director
, you will lead our academic teams, ensuring the smooth delivery of all ELICOS and VET programs. Your responsibilities will include managing academic staff, optimizing student outcomes, and maintaining the highest quality standards in academic delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery and quality of ELICOS and VET programs, ensuring compliance with academic standards.
- Manage academic staff recruitment, induction, performance, and development.
- Develop and implement innovative academic programs in collaboration with the Academic Director.
- Lead the management of academic resources, including maintaining the Academic Calendar and student pathways.
- Facilitate Board of Examiner and Student Progress Meetings, ensuring timely execution of outcomes.
- Build and maintain relationships with academic partners, such as universities and TAFE institutions.
- Represent the Academy in strategic planning and leadership initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree + CELTA/DELTA or equivalent
- Experience as a Senior Teacher/ADOS or equivalent in international student sector.
- Desirable Bachelor of Education or Postgraduate in Education/Teaching/TESOL
- Desirable Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE
40116/TAE
40122) - Demonstrated experience in academic management, preferably in ELICOS and/or VET sectors.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams.
- Proven track record of driving quality improvements and innovation in academic delivery.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements and quality assurance processes in the education sector.
