Are you a board eligible/board certified anesthesiologist with a completed fellowship in Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology ? If so, we invite you to become a vital part of our Cardiovascular and Thoracic Anesthesiology Division at Mayo Clinic Arizona. This is your chance to provide exceptional anesthetic care for complex cardiac and thoracic surgeries, including transplant procedures, while also engaging in clinical research and resident education.
YourResponsibilities:
- Deliver anesthetic care for a variety of complex cardiac surgeries, including coronary bypass, valve surgery, aortic surgery, and heart transplantation.
- Participate in the thoracic surgery caseload, which includes complex thoracic and foregut surgeries, and contribute to our growing robotic surgery program.
- Engage actively in resident teaching and clinical research initiatives.
- Contribute to the advancement of anesthesiology programs in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Arizona.
- Board-Eligible or Board-Certified (BE/BC) in Anesthesiology.
- Completion of an Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology fellowship.
- Experience in lung and heart transplantation is highly desirable.
