Valle del Sol is seeking a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to provide compassionate, patient-centered primary care in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. In this role, you’ll provide patient evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, and medication monitoring for Valle del Sol family practice patients, partnering with a multidisciplinary team to support smooth, efficient, integrated care.
What You’ll Do- Provide comprehensive family medicine care including histories/physicals, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic and episodic conditions
- Educate patients and families on preventive care, medical issues, and treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and recommend therapies (e.g., physical therapy, inhalation therapy) as clinically appropriate
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
- Complete timely, accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Manage EHR inbox/provider action queue tasks and electronically sign documents within 1 business day
- Respond promptly to patient calls (refills/general questions) and coordinate with pharmacies, labs, radiology, and other external partners
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case staffing
- Participate in quarterly Medical Management Committee review (peer review chart audits/external findings) and support improvement action plans
- Maintain a clean, functional clinical environment consistent with OSHA guidance and manufacturer recommendations
- Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as a Family Medicine Physician - Experience in community health, integrated care, or with diverse/underserved populations preferred
- Education:
Completion of Medical School and an accredited Family Medicine Residency. - Licensure:
Current, unrestricted Arizona license to practice medicine (MD/DO) with full prescribing authority. - Certification:
Board Certified in Family Medicine or Board Eligible (Board Eligible must obtain Board Certification within 1 year of hire). - Clinical & Professional

Skills:
Working knowledge of Windows 365 and electronic health record (EHR) systems (Next Gen experience preferred). - Compliance/Screening:
Must have or be able to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card. - Transportation:
Must possess reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance. - BLS:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or ability to obtain within 10 business days of hire. - Health Requirements:
- TB screening documentation (PPD, Quanti
FERON, and/or chest x-ray as required). - Immunization documentation or titers/declination forms for:
Influenza, Hepatitis B, MMR, Tdap, Varicella. - Bilingual preferred (Spanish).
