Hybrid | 3 days in the studio + 2 days remote

As an Architectural Project Designer/Architect at Hobbs+Black, you'll play a key role in shaping environments across healthcare, education, civic, mixed use, hospitality, commercial, and housing sectors. You'll lead with both empathy and technical expertise as you:

• Build trusted relationships with clients and turn their needs into thoughtful, functional design solutions
• Collaborate seamlessly with project managers, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams
• Conduct site planning, zoning work, and code analysis
• Lead the development of coordinated high‑quality construction documents
• Design and document with precision using Revit and Bluebeam
• Prepare bid packages and partner with consultants to ensure cohesive project delivery
• Support construction administration with field visits, submittal reviews, and thorough documentation
• Contribute to the studio's QA/QC process to uphold our standards of excellence

• 6+ years of related architectural work experience
• Advanced Revit skills and comfort producing detailed construction documents
• Commitment to sustainable, thoughtful design
• Licensure preferred (or active progress toward licensure)
• Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills

• Bachelor's degree in architecture from an NCARB accredited program
• Valid driver's license
• Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
