We are seeking an experienced Architectural Job Captain to support the successful delivery of multifamily residential and senior living projects. This individual will collaborate closely with the Project Manager, Project Architect, and consulting engineers to produce high-quality design and construction documents while ensuring technical accuracy and coordination throughout all phases of the project.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Project Architect in developing comprehensive construction documents for bidding and permitting
- Prepare, review, and coordinate drawing sets to ensure accuracy and alignment with internal team members and external consultants
- Coordinate closely with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and lighting engineers
- Assist with building department submissions and respond to plan check comments
- Support construction administration efforts, including processing RFIs, RFPs, submittals, and shop drawings
- Maintain awareness of project timelines and proactively manage deliverable deadlines
- Minimum of 5 years of professional architectural experience
- Experience in multifamily residential, senior living, and/or wood-frame construction preferred
- Strong technical expertise with the ability to produce and maintain a full set of construction documents
- Working knowledge of IBC, ADA, and ANSI codes
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
