BRR Architecture is a national architectural design firm dedicated to creating inspiring architecture for retail, commercial, and multi-family needs. If you offer commercial, grocery/retail experience, especially within urban markets, coupled with strong collaborative communication skills and a desire to contribute to the design, coordination, and production of construction documents and the full project lifecycle, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities- Evaluate materials, building products, constructability and processes
- Produce detailed construction documents for projects
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Refrigeration and Structural disciplines
- Develop and assist in client and peer presentations
- Attend project and studio meetings
- Build, develop, and maintain client relations
- Assist in problem solving of production issues
- Responsibility for ensuring success of project
- Review architectural designs, production documents, and construction change directives
- Conduct site scopes, observation trips, and generate field reports
- Professional accredited degree in Architecture.
- Licensure not required.
- Must have the capacity to understand and communicate complex issues that involve the functional and aesthetic areas of architecture.
- Ability to engage in creative and critical thought and able to graphically communicate concepts and ideas to others effectively.
- Desire to work in a team-oriented, fast paced environment.
- Ability to assist in architectural research, document/design development, peer consultation and program-wide implementation efforts.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to confidentiality and sensitivity of information.
- Strong communication, problem solving, and presentation skills.
- Must be able to work well with all levels of teammates.
- Intermediate to Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Computer software knowledge, skills in Revit and AutoCAD are critical. Drive to research and utilize technology in architectural applications.
