Heathcare Designer

We are looking for a Healthcare Designer to join our Phoenix-based team!

Here are some of the responsibilities in this role:

• Leading the design process, which includes programming, space planning, specifications, and client engagement.
• Mentoring other members of the Healthcare Design team.
• Collaborating with cross-functional leaders and employees to share healthcare knowledge and improve outcomes.
• Working with our Showroom Experience Lead to coordinate healthcare-focused learning opportunities for the healthcare team, and leading trainings on healthcare products.

• 10+ years of industry experience
• 5+ years in healthcare-specific design
• Experience leading training on healthcare products
• Bachelor's degree in design or related field.
• Strong product and technical knowledge of major contract furniture manufacturers.

• Problem-solving
• Providing project and customer-appropriate solutions that help us win and retain customers.
• Gathering programming requirements and developing conceptual design and block planning.
• Conducting product research.
• Field verifying existing or new building conditions.
• Drafting or modifying base plans in AutoCAD.
• Ensuring accurate plans and specifications, conformance to client requirements, customer satisfaction and project implementation.
• Attending and leading meetings independently.
• Giving presentations for RFP and project interview situations.
• Tracking and recording billable time.
• Preparing installation drawings simultaneous to order entry.
• Meeting or exceeding customer expectations concerning response times and quality of internal and external communications and deliverables.
• Focus on achieving corporate objectives.
