We are currently looking for a motivated Front Desk / Dental Administrative Assistant who enjoys working with patients and being an essential part of a growing dental practice.

Job Summary

The Front Desk / Dental Administrative Assistant will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a key role in the daily operations of the office. This position combines front desk responsibilities with back office support, including patient care coordination and clinical assistance when needed.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, personable, and has previous dental office experience.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Patient Care

  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage dental appointments
  • Greet patients and ensure a positive patient experience
  • Follow up with patients regarding appointments, treatment plans, and recalls
  • Verify basic patient information and assist with administrative paperwork

Administrative Duties

  • Assist with general office administrative tasks
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Support daily office workflow and team coordination

Back Office Support

  • Seat patients and prepare them for treatment
  • Assist with sterilization and operatory setup
  • Help create and update treatment plans
  • Occasionally present treatment plans to patients and answer basic questions
  • Support the clinical team as needed to ensure smooth patient flow
Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous dental office experience required or strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable answering phones and scheduling appointments
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
  • Reliable, honest, and professional
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Experience with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) is a plus
