Position Overview And Responsibilities

The Experience Ambassador resolves residents’ inquiries related to in-property and off-premises attractions, facilities, services, or activities. Experience Ambassadors engage directly with residents and with homeshare guests before and during their stay at our communities.

This is an in-person position located on-site at the property.

What You’ll Do
  • Uphold Sentral’s standards, policies and procedures, and value excellence in customer service
  • Establish rapport with residents and guests to ensure they feel welcomed and valued
  • Serve as the first point of contact between guests and the organization
  • Prioritize and fulfill requests with friendliness, efficiency, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Greet residents by name and with a smile
  • Provide exceptional hospitality in line with quality assurance expectations
  • Resolve disputes promptly to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Promote living at the property by discussing benefits and distributing marketing materials while delivering exemplary service
  • Answer, record, and process calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns
  • Run daily reports, identify special requests, and verify report accuracy
  • Monitor building access to protect residents and property
  • Identify potential issues and take appropriate action, informing management as needed
  • Enhance resident benefits through active marketing and partnerships with neighboring businesses
  • Support resident satisfaction and retention through programming with leadership and direct engagement
  • Remain knowledgeable about local activities and establishments to offer recommendations
  • Manage building access for guests, residents, and vendors using key systems
  • Maintain lobbies and common spaces, stock refreshment stations, and ensure a welcoming environment
  • Follow safety and security policies, reporting accidents and unsafe conditions
  • Understand emergency procedures and assist with evacuations if needed
  • Develop positive working relationships among building staff
  • Assist with luggage handling, early check-in, and late checkout as needed
  • Assess property needs and inform maintenance of repairs or cleaning; log service requests and follow up
  • Be compliant with safety and emergency procedures and applicable regulations
  • Assist with administrative tasks and special projects as directed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Education / Experience
  • High School/GED required
  • Some college preferred
  • Minimum of one year of experience in hospitality or customer service
  • Multifamily experience preferred
Skills & Qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, guests, team members, management, and third-party vendors
  • Computer savvy and ability to learn multiple software systems
  • Ability to analyze, organize, prioritize, and follow up with urgency
  • Active listening, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
  • Proactive decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
