Job Summary

The Graphic Designer is the design execution hub of MUTOH America's marketing department. This role brings creative vision and production expertise to every touchpoint - from print collateral and trade show environments to event coordination and digital presence. The ideal candidate is a skilled graphic designer with a solid foundation in print production, a collaborative mindset, and the organizational discipline to manage a dynamic event calendar alongside a robust design workload.

This person works closely with the Marketing Manager, Director of Sales, and Product Managers to deliver polished, on-brand assets that serve the needs of the entire organization.

Responsibilities
  • Graphic Design, Events, and Print Production
  • Design and produce print and digital collateral for cross-departmental needs including sales initiatives, product launches, and marketing campaigns - translating copy and direction into polished, on-brand assets.
  • Design print and digital ad assets for external publications, executing against approved strategy and copy.
  • Design trade show graphics, (banners, booth materials, and company signage), in collaboration with Product Managers.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator for trade show execution - from booth design and sample production to travel coordination and show partner relationships.
  • Support Dealers exhibiting at trade shows with brand‑aligned, substrate‑specific print files.
  • Manage and maintain the company website in Word Press, contributing creative web design ideas and recommendations while executing within the strategy and direction set by the Marketing Manager.
  • Build and manage a Dealer portal providing access to product, marketing, and social media assets.
  • Manage Dealer portal access requests and conduct biannual access audits to maintain website integrity.
  • This role requires 10% travel for attendance at key industry trade shows.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support marketing initiatives, including occasional ad hoc special projects.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' progressive experience in graphic design and print collateral production.
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, or equivalent - preferred.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong eye for composition, style, and graphic layout - portfolio required upon request.
  • Experience managing and maintaining websites in Word Press or a comparable content management platform.
  • Expert at auditing own work for accuracy and grammar.
  • Bridge the gap between stakeholder vision and final deliverable by asking the right questions and ensuring total project alignment.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously; comfortable working within a project management platform (Click Up) to track deadlines and collaborate with the team.
  • Willingness to learn specialized print applications and workflows, with product‑specific training provided internally.
  • Hub Spot experience a plus.
Work Environment
  • Works in office sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Requires extended periods of time standing while at industry trade shows.
  • May have occasional exposure to printing equipment, inks, and solvents.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time while at computer or event.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for computer and mouse operations.
  • Occasional lifting or carrying of materials such as samples, prints, or substrates. (up to 50 pounds)
  • Visual acuity required for detail design work, color evaluation, and proofing accuracy.

Job Type: Full‑time

Pay:
Salary range of $45,000.00 - $58,000.00
