Pay Range: $60,000- $75,000

Job Responsibilities:

What you will do

Work with our in‑house creative team to guide the development of the organization’s brand voice across a variety of communication channels while creating engaging internal and external content that will turn heads.

  • Support the in‑house creative and communications team in applying the organization’s brand voice across internal and external communication channels.
  • Write and produce content for a variety of stakeholders, including drivers, office employees, and customers.
  • Help ensure brand voice and messaging are consistently applied across communications and that information is accurate and clearly communicated.
  • Assist with the transition to and ongoing use of a new employee experience platform.
  • Help manage company intranet sites by creating, updating, and publishing content to ensure timely and effective communication.
  • Create, update, and publish digital content for screens across our national network of terminals and offices.
  • Assist with the creation and publication of the organization’s weekly newsletter, including gathering content, scheduling, and editing.
  • Conduct interviews with drivers, office employees, and leaders and help develop written content for blogs, articles, website pages, and internal communications.
  • Assist the Social Media Strategist by helping develop, write, and coordinate content for both paid and organic social media campaigns.
  • Write creative copy for social media, email, website content, video scripts, and other digital and print materials.
  • Support website content updates by publishing and maintaining content in the CMS, following brand guidelines and basic SEO best practices.
  • Assist with content‑related reporting by tracking basic performance metrics (such as engagement, open rates, and page views) and helping gather insights to inform future content.
  • Collaborate with departments across the organization to support their communication needs.
  • Assist with campaigns and initiatives that promote the Knight brand and engage drivers, employees, and customers.
  • Provide general support to the communications team and proactively assist others in meeting department and organizational goals.

Qualifications:

What you need to bring
  • 2+ years of experience in communications, marketing, digital content, or a related field.
  • Interest in or basic knowledge of the transportation or logistics industry preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong writing skills with attention to tone, clarity, and detail.
  • Basic experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, or similar tools) or a willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with website content management systems and digital platforms preferred.
