- Compensation: $65,000 – $81,000 per year (flexibility up to $90,000 for highly experienced candidates)

Job DescriptionThe Estimator will play a key role in the preconstruction process, working closely with business development and operations teams to develop accurate and competitive project budgets. This individual will analyze drawings and specifications, prepare detailed cost projections, and contribute to successful bid submissions across a range of commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop conceptual and detailed cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and project scope.
- Perform quantity take-offs and pricing analysis using estimating software and internal tools.
- Collaborate with architects, owners, and internal project teams to refine budgets throughout the design lifecycle.
- Present cost summaries and explain variances or scope adjustments to stakeholders.
- Manage multiple bid opportunities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Support value engineering efforts and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain organized documentation for all bids, revisions, and communications.
- 1–6 years of experience in construction estimating.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM platforms.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and cost structures.
- Experience with estimating tools such as OnScreen Takeoff or similar software preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present financial information.
