What the Role Involves:

As a Refrigeration Construction Foreman, you'll be responsible for the field oversite and direction of technicians to maintain quality workmanship for supermarket refrigeration installations, at new stores and remodel construction jobs.

* Foster clear, professional, and respectful communication with clients, colleagues, and leadership team to ensure effective collaboration and workplace efficiency.

* Create and modify work schedules to adapt to ever-changing construction deadlines, delays, and weather obstacles.

* Provide updates on project status to stakeholders, including project managers and the construction manager.

* Maintain a highly efficient work environment while upholding strict quality and safety standards.

* Read blueprints and perform accurate material takeoffs and procure materials as necessary

* Lead construction jobs that include piping cooler boxes, overhead lines, compressor rooms/houses, refrigeration cases, etc. according to specifications.

* Document and submit daily progress reports, highlighting any discrepancies or changes from the original plan.

* On-the-job training of lower-level construction colleagues across different trades.

Basic Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED

* Valid State Driver's License

* 5 years' relevant experience of leading and directing refrigeration installations on jobsites.

The Ideal Candidate :

* Proven leadership qualities with the ability to effectively and efficiently run a job and crew.

* Able to conduct and document toolbox safety meetings.

* Strong customer service skills with a proven track record of effective communication on all levels from;
General Contractor, Subcontractor, Inspector, Laborer, etc.

* Respects the importance of ensuring Company assets (vehicles, equipment, tools, materials, etc.); are properly and continuously maintained in good repair and secured safely and securely.

* General knowledge of construction practices and familiarity with equipment, including routine service and maintenance; washing, check fluids, tire pressures, grease, etc.

* Able to assist with sourcing local subcontractors when necessary

* Thorough knowledge of safety procedures, legal regulations and guidelines

* Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability

* Computer Skills - must have strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Email) and other system applications currently being used (Maxwell, etc.).

* Knowledge of OSHA Safety regulations

* Adheres to Hillphoenix safety program, policies, and procedures.

* Travel - 75% of the time or when required. Work shifts vary and are driven by project requirements.
