The ideal candidate must have current experience in the commercial glass and glazing industry with experience in storefront, curtain wall, door frames, and/or door hardware.
Responsibilities include:
* Reading blueprints and performing take offs, preparing estimates and cost data
* Perform material take-offs from architectural drawings, create quotes for our customers
* Build and maintain files including bid documents and estimate sheets.
* Communicate with contractors to review bids and contract follow up.
* Manage multiple construction projects.
* Manage submittal process with contractors; prepare, submit, and review returned submittals.
* Prepare and submit change orders.
* Manage customer satisfaction, project budgets, quality of work, and completion dates for all projects.
* Occasional job site visits
* Assist with project management.
* Must be self motivated, have strong work ethic, able to work independently, have time management skills and function as a part of the team.

Required Qualifications:
* Prior experience (at least 2 years) commercial estimating and project management for the glass industry.
* Experience reading plans and understanding shop drawings, delta changes and revisions.
* Knowledge of glass and glazing / door and hardware manufacturers.
* Knowledge of safety codes.
* Experience with Microsoft office tools. Salesforce and Buildtools software a plus.
* Clean Driving record and Valid Driver's License
* Successfully pass Drug and background check
