The ideal candidates will bring extensive construction safety leadership experience, particularly within power plant, energy, or heavy industrial environments and possess the ability to partner closely with project leadership, contractors, and client stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and drive a strong, proactive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site EHS leadership and oversight for construction operations
  • Conduct and document daily safety inspections, audits, and field observations
  • Support planning and execution of high-risk activities (critical lifts, confined space, LOTO, energized work, etc.)
  • Participate in Daily Hazard Analysis (DHA) and pre-task planning processes
  • Lead or support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action development
  • Partner with project leadership to drive an injury-free, compliant jobsite
  • Track, trend, and report safety metrics to identify risks and improvement opportunities
  • Review contractor EHS plans and assist in developing site‑specific procedures
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance with all site safety requirements
  • Verify craft worker training, certifications, and task qualifications
  • Collaborate with owner/client safety representatives and risk management teams
  • Support delivery of safety orientations, training, and recognition initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of construction EHS experience
  • Strong experience supporting power plant, energy, industrial, or heavy civil construction projects
  • Active OSHA 30 (required)
  • OSHA 500 and/or OSHA 510
  • Professional safety certifications such as ASP, CSP, CHST, STSC, or GSP
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations (OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital safety management systems
