Role DescriptionThe Assistant Superintendent (Commercial) will assist in managing day-to-day construction site operations, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and meet the company’s quality standards. You will report directly to the Superintendent on-site. Responsibilities include supervising subcontractors, monitoring work progress, maintaining safety protocols, coordinating resources, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Phoenix, AZ, requiring strong collaboration with the project team and effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications- Experience in construction site management, including supervising subcontractors and managing project schedules
- Proficiency in project planning, problem-solving, and resource coordination
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and client interaction
- Ability to adapt to challenges and ensure the resolution of on-site issues
- Previous experience in residential or commercial construction is a plus
- Proficiency in basic construction tools and software systems
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in construction management are advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in construction management preferred or 2+ years' experience in the construction industry.
