We’re working with an employee-owned general contractor that’s looking for a Project Manager to lead industrial, manufacturing, and mission‑critical projects. This is a hands‑on role with real ownership – from early preconstruction through closeout – overseeing budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, and direct client relationships.
You’d be trusted to run your work, lead teams in the field, solve problems as they come up, and deliver complex projects safely and efficiently. If you’re someone who values accountability, teamwork, and building things the right way, this could be a strong long‑term fit.
Responsibilities- Support and manage construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, helping ensure work is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Assist with enforcing safety and quality standards and participate in regular site walks and inspections.
- Manage day‑to‑day project execution, help resolve field issues, and ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and client expectations.
- Participate in estimating, takeoffs, subcontractor bid reviews, and scope leveling; assist with subcontract awards and buyout.
- Track project budgets, forecasts, change orders, subcontractor invoices, and owner billings.
- Support permitting efforts and help ensure compliance with codes, regulations, insurance requirements, and contract obligations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, pay applications, schedules, and closeout deliverables.
- Work closely with Superintendents and Project Engineers to coordinate manpower, schedules, and daily activities.
- Participate in OAC, subcontractor, and internal project meetings to support alignment and progress.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors while learning how to manage external partnerships effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Civil, Architectural, or related), or equivalent experience.
- 4-7+ years of project management experience
- Experience supporting projects from preconstruction through closeout (project size flexible depending on complexity).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Comfortable working in a team‑based environment and communicating across field and office teams.
- Proficient with construction software and productivity tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Office)
