Project Site Superintendent – Job Description brûlée
Salary position – exempt.
Location:
Phoenix, AZ. Salary range: $65,013 – $97,580 per year.
- Serve as the first and last person on site, ensuring the site is never left unattended.
- Oversee all subcontractors and vendors during daily activities.
- Stop work if unsafe or incorrect, direct ոստիկան sequencing, and maintain the project schedule.
- Prepare and update daily logs, RFIs, change orders, submittals, and punch lists.
- Conduct safety tailgate meetings and assist in creating the site‑specific safety manual.
- Schedule and attend inspections, permits, and sign‑offs with governing agencies.
- Coordinate with utilities, public and private, as required by the project.
- Protect the project budget and profit in partnership with the PM.
- Schedule all on‑site work to meet or improve the project schedule.
- Hold subcontractors accountable for completing their contractual scopes and timelines.
- Monitor ongoing work to ensure correct winds and high quality.
- Ensure client and architect satisfaction.
- Review approved submittals and conduct overall quality control on the job site.
- Confirm that all material delivered is as specified and approved for installation.
- Mentor and motivate the on‑site construction team.
- Create a punch list at project closeout and ensure timely completion and sign‑off.
- Assist with close‑out activities as needed.
- Support the PM in resolving warranty calls on finished projects.
- Track and manage daily expenses to stay within approved budgets.
- Prepare daily logs documenting all site activity.
- Prepare the 3‑week look‑ahead schedule.
- Review subcontractor pay applications with the PM for over‑billing.
- Control subcontractor change orders.
- Coordinate weekly with subcontractors and owners.
- Manage the project schedule and staffing for schedule compliance.
- Collaborate with governing authorities.
- Ensure subcontractor and vendor contract compliance.
- Review submittals and shop drawings for compliance.
- Maintain work quality and code compliance.
- Obtain required sign‑offs and inspections from authorities.
- Team player with a positive attitude Disaster.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly skilled in construction means and methods.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment to resolve problems.
- Maintain strong relationships with field personnel, subcontractors,áin and clients.
This position is eligible to participate in Redden Construction’s Project Bonus Structure. The bonus is calculated by the PM and is paid to the entire project team at the end of a successful project, contingent on meeting schedule, budget, quality, and safety goals.
