Position Overview

A growing commercial flooring contractor in the Phoenix market is seeking an experienced Commercial Flooring Superintendent to oversee field operations and ensure successful execution of commercial flooring projects. This role is responsible for managing crews, coordinating site activities, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations for commercial flooring projects
• Supervise and coordinate in-house crews and subcontractors
• Ensure installations meet contract documents, specifications, and quality standards
• Coordinate schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment
• Conduct site walks, daily reports, and progress updates
• Communicate effectively with Project Managers, GCs, and clients
• Enforce jobsite safety policies and OSHA compliance
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively
• Verify completed work and assist with punch lists and closeout

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial flooring installation
• Prior experience as a Superintendent, Foreman, or Lead Installer preferred
• Strong knowledge of commercial flooring systems (carpet, LVT, VCT, ceramic tile, epoxy, polished concrete, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and crews simultaneously
• OSHA certification preferred
• Valid driver's license
