Position: Bilingual in Spanish Nanny Needed Part Time in Phoenix

Overview

A warm, respectful family in Phoenix is seeking a nurturing, part-time nanny to care for their 12-month-old son. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys supporting a toddler’s growth through bilingual (English and Spanish) interaction, indoor play, outdoor walks, and a consistent routine. The family values experience, attentiveness, and a collaborative spirit, as the mother—who is currently a stay-at-home parent—will occasionally be present and involved.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a caregiver who is both loving and reliable, and who finds fulfillment in caring for young children while contributing to a calm, well-run household.

Schedule

Ideally Tuesday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday 1pm-5pm

Pets

No pets in the home

Specific tasks and expectations
  • Engaging the child in age-appropriate play and developmental activities, including the use of toys, flashcards, books, and outdoor walks.
  • Communicating with the child in both English and Spanish to support early bilingual language exposure.
  • Feeding the child meals prepared or approved by the parents.
  • Assisting with nap time routines, including putting the child down for naps as needed.
  • Performing light household tasks while the child is sleeping or under the mother’s care, such as washing dishes, doing baby-related laundry, and general tidying.
  • Collaborating with the stay-at-home mother as needed when she is present in the home.
  • Respecting all household guidelines and routines, including food and safety protocols.
Hourly rate

$25- $30 DOE

Qualifications
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (to engage the child in both languages)
  • Clean Background
  • CPR certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Experience caring for infants or toddlers (preferred: former stay-at-home parent or long-term nanny experience)
  • Background in early childhood education is a strong plus
  • Comfortable performing light housekeeping (dishes, laundry, tidying) when child is napping or with parent
  • Must be comfortable working in a home with security cameras
  • Must be respectful of parents’ preferences for feeding and routines
  • Strong Communication and Time Management Skills

The ideal candidate is a warm, dependable, and experienced caregiver who speaks both English and Spanish, has a strong understanding of early childhood development, and is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a respectful, family-oriented environment.
