Payroll Analyst

Vaco Arizona is partnering with a well-established organization to hire a Payroll Analyst. This role is ideal for someone with experience in high-volume, multi-state payroll processing. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering a hybrid schedule and a pay rate of up to $34 per hour.

• Process weekly payroll for 1,000-4,000 employees, including manual checks and adjustments
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
• Review team payroll entries for accuracy and compliance
• Respond to payroll inquiries and coordinate with managers and union representatives
• Assist with internal and external payroll audits
• Maintain organized payroll records and documentation
• Manage payroll garnishments and agency communications
• Coordinate with accounting and banks on direct deposits, positive pay, and voids

• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume, full-cycle, multi-state payroll environment
• Experience with UKG or similar payroll system
• Proficient in Excel
