The Product Line Manager will lead strategic planning and tactical activities for assigned products and position them for growth. He / She will assume responsibilities for new product introduction, product roadmap, lifecycle management, competitive analysis, and strategic product development. He / She should be an effective collaborator and play an integral role in go-to-market activities, sales force training, and customer support.
EssentialDuties And Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product line strategy that positions the portfolio for sustainable growth.
- Build and maintain a product roadmap informed by Voice of Customer (VoC), Voice of Market (VoM), and industry trends.
- Lead new product introduction initiatives, ensuring customer and market insights guide product development and maximize market share.
- Conduct ongoing market and competitive analysis to identify white-space opportunities, unmet needs, and emerging trends.
- Translate insights into actionable plans that strengthen product positioning and drive differentiation.
- Oversee lifecycle management activities, including product enhancements, rationalization, and end-of-life planning.
- Ensuring fitness for use by validating performance, quality, and reliability requirements throughout development, launch, and ongoing lifecycle management.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to refine pricing strategies and optimize profitability across the product line.
- Collaborate with Marketing to elevate product visibility through launches, campaigns, digital tools, trade shows, and other promotional activities.
- Support sales enablement through training, product education, and development of customer-facing materials.
- Engage directly with key customers alongside the Sales team to promote solutions, secure design wins, and drive revenue growth.
- Contribute to process and system improvements across ERP, pricing workflows, capacity planning, and other operational areas.
- Champion best practices that enhance efficiency, data accuracy, and cross-functional alignment.
- 3-5 years of equivalent combination of experience or education in product management, product development, or business development.
- Experience with RF/microwave technology a plus.
- Proven skills in data analysis.
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident to satisfy ITAR requirements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate with customers, team members, other departments, upper management in support program management activities.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical and business requirements.
- Project management and interpersonal skills.
- Travel as required.
