SummaryThe Senior Analyst - Power Contract Services is responsible for providing expertise and consultation in the analysis, evaluation, development, negotiation and drafting of the company's energy contract portfolio throughout the contract lifecycle. Acts as a liaison between APS and third parties, critically reviewing and analyzing contract payment terms, scope of work, and other appendices to identify legal and drafting issues, as well as potential impacts on operations or business unit needs.
Provides oversight on contracts' status, milestones, financial aspects, and compliance, while fostering relationships with stakeholders and collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure contract compliance and improvement.
- BS/BA in business, economics, mathematics, contract administration, supply chain management, business law or other job-related field
- Plus five (5) years of utility experience including experience involving commercial contracting for procurement of goods and services or related transactions.
- In lieu of degree nine (9) years of utility experience including some contract and/or transmission system knowledge.
- An advanced degree including a JD may be substituted for two (2) years' experience.

Qualifications:
- Experience in developing contract terms and conditions, negotiating contracts, and managing strong vendor relationships.
- Broad familiarity of FERC regulatory requirements and APS jurisdictional agreements.
- Organization, project management, communication and negotiation skills are essential.
- Analytical abilities to perform regulatory analysis and contract negotiations/development as well as the ability to act independently.
