Business Development Manager – Phoenix, Arizona Area
As our BDM you will be responsible for developing profitable business for GDK product line using sophisticated selling, marketing, and managerial skills.
What you are going to be doing- Manage and build the Michigan region in sales and profits
- Set strategic sales plan for the region’s sales and profits based on company objectives
- Establish strong relationships with existing customers, distributors, and end users
- Prospect for new business opportunities
- Work key food shows to sell new customers and develop relations with key current customers
- Train distributor sales team
- Make distributor and operator sales calls with brokers
- Serve as a liaison with the company’s customer care department resolving equipment and product issues
- Investigate and resolve customer product quality issues
- Favorably negotiate marketing programs with distributors
- Analyze customer produce mix vs. spending and identify ways to increase profit margin
- Develop, prospect, and pursue top line pipeline account targets
- Update CRM Daily
- BS or BA preferred
- 5 years of business development and/or sales in the food service industry
- Distributor and end user development experience
- Must reside in a major metropolitan area in Phoenix, Arizona
