Sr Analyst Operations Technology

POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr. Analyst, Operations Technology plays a critical role in supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of technology to improve operations and business benefits. They will support cross-functional collaboration with Area leaders, Field leaders, Implementation team, Labor Relations, corporate stakeholders, Information Technology, and vendor groups. The new technologies will enable enhanced experiences for our customers and drive greater efficiency across a network of more than 20,000 Drivers, Dispatchers, Supervisors, and Managers.

This position supports a core and foundational component of the Company’s future-state roadmap and efforts to integrate and execute our operational technology and process-based solutions.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supports all aspects of program

• Supports Implementation & Deployment of cutting edge technology

• Supports deployment issues and develops mitigation plans

• Supports the pre-planning, deployment, and ongoing adoption of technologies and processes to Republic’s field organization

• Monitors and develops reporting for program performance and deployment execution

• Monitors program KPIs and coordinates financial reporting

• Organizes team inputs to synthesize key program updates for status meetings and reports

• Conducts ad hoc analyses and reporting as needed

• Actively generates recommendations on improvements/efficiencies for process or programmatic changes

• Routinely reviews processes, product enhancements and field related training materials to ensure all training aids, and learning solutions remain relevant

• Works with manager, team, and technology vendors to support development of products to meet business needs, outlining requirements and supporting roadmap development

• Helps support project planning and change management for key initiatives and programs

• Works closely with team and key business partners to development project communications & training plans and materials

• Manages vendor relations and engages in industry networking to uncover new technologies and foster relationships

• Supports execution of new technology pilots and business cases around proven technology aimed at driving operational business benefits

• Helps maintain logistical alignment across various vendors

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PPT, Word

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Demonstrated commitment to working collaboratively as part of a team

• Prior experience in the waste industry or related field(s).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years of experience in one or more roles focusing on process improvement and financial analysis in the waste industry or related field(s)

• 2 years of experience performing systems analysis and translating business needs into definable systems solutions
