As we help consumers achieve financial freedom, the Principal Product Manager will focus on horizontal initiatives such as unlocking sub‑prime, pricing, smart offers, etc. The role drives roadmaps for domain PMs across the funnel and operations to deliver on these initiatives.

• Connect product to company strategy by establishing a clear, outcome‑oriented vision and maintaining a multi‑quarter roadmap.
• Deliver high‑impact products by partnering with research, design, usability, and engineering; prioritizing rigorously with data, experimentation, and modern product processes; building lean, data‑visible workflows; and continuously improving conversion and funnel performance.
• Specific results: double submit‑to‑fund conversion, grow revenue per loan by 30%.

• Give a damn: Deep ownership of outcomes for customers, partners, and Caribou.
• Velocity: Prioritizes speed with direction. Acts with urgency, ships fast, iterates.
• Make the Assist: Collaborates across teams, removes blockers, aligns priorities, remains calm under pressure.

• Curiosity & Tech Exploration: Explores emerging technologies (especially AI) to improve product development and workflows.
• Technical Fluency: Interfaces deeply with engineering and data, understanding trade‑offs and system‑level thinking.

• 8+ years in product management, preferably in technology‑driven companies.
• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields; top‑tier MBA is a plus.
• Marketplace and/or fintech/lending background strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated record of applying AI to product and workflow innovation.

• Competitive base salary: $173k – $217k, plus annual performance incentive.
