Global Sourcing & Materials Acquisition

We are looking for a high-impact Lead Sourcing Specialist to join our international procurement team. This role is a perfect fit for a "strategist-doer" who can manage the full lifecycle of complex acquisitions, from initial vendor identification to long-term contract stewardship.

You will play a vital role in ensuring that our operational workflow remains uninterrupted by leveraging data-driven sourcing and building resilient partnerships with international providers.

Core Responsibilities
  • Strategic Acquisitions & Negotiation
  • Sourcing Innovation: Create and deploy purchasing frameworks that guarantee the continuous flow of critical materials and services.
  • Fiscal Optimization: Drive the identification of high-value providers and lead the negotiation of commercial terms to maximize quality and cost-efficiency.
  • Risk Shielding: Stay ahead of market fluctuations and global trends to protect the organization from supply chain volatility.
  • Performance Auditing: Maintain high standards through regular vendor assessments, KPI tracking, and proactive conflict resolution.
  • Operational Synergy: Work as a technical bridge between Finance, Operations, and Engineering to ensure all procurement activities are in lock-step with company growth.
  • Continuous Improvement: Spearhead initiatives to modernize internal purchasing tools and refine existing workflow protocols.
  • Inventory & Analytics
  • Dynamic Planning: Support demand forecasting and inventory balancing to reduce waste and optimize capital.
  • Executive Visibility: Translate complex procurement data into clear, actionable reports regarding cost savings and partner health.
Candidate Profile
  • Proven Track Record: At least 5 years of professional experience in strategic sourcing or materials management.
  • Analytical Foundation: A degree in a technical or business field (e.g., Supply Chain, Business Ops, or Engineering).
  • Technical Toolkit: Practical experience with large-scale ERP/MRP environments (direct SAP experience is a significant advantage).
  • Supply Logic: Deep familiarity with modern fulfillment strategies such as VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) and JIT (Just-In-Time).
  • Contractual Knowledge: A firm grasp of commercial law and the nuances of international trade.
  • Global Readiness:
  • International Residency: Candidates must be able to complete an initial 3–6 month assignment at our overseas corporate hub to align with global procurement standards.
  • Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel internationally (up to 30%) for vendor site visits and corporate planning sessions.
  • Professional credentials such as CPSM, CSCP, or PMP
    .
  • Advanced data analytics skills and Excel mastery.
  • Bilingual proficiency is highly valued.
  • Previous experience in a high-precision manufacturing or capital-intensive sector.
