Spare Parts Administrator – QUANTUM GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES, LLC

Location:

Phoenix, AZ

The Spare Parts Administrator ensures efficient management of spare parts inventory and procurement processes to support operational continuity. The role oversees order tracking, cross‑site inventory movement, and resolution of defects, while maintaining accurate records in SIMI. Acting as the primary liaison with Intel, the administrator monitors shipments, addresses bottlenecks, and manages disposition of excess or nonconforming materials. Strong attention to detail and proactive follow‑up are critical for timely, cost‑effective parts availability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Resolve procurement and inventory defects (variants, holds, exceptions, and backorders)
  • Manage and track expedited orders
  • Manage cross‑site movement of inventory
  • Disposition of dead/excess inventory
  • Disposition of DMR or NCR material
  • Track/follow up on FOI parts
  • Monitor Intel’s systems for shipments and identify bottlenecks
  • Maintain up‑to‑date records in SIMI
  • Serve as single point of contact from Intel’s perspective
  • Attention to detail required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
  • High level of concentration and good communication skills
  • Regular and frequent use of one or more software packages and web‑based programs
  • Multitasker with ability to work in a team environment or independently
  • Good understanding of all functions in the department and awareness of the company’s operations, methods, and procedures
Educational/Certification Requirements
  • Minimum college courses
  • Preferred college degree
Work Experience
  • Minimum 3 years Customer Service/Parts Management experience. Preferably in the manufacturing/semiconductor industry
Work Environment

Physical Demands
  • Work may require the ability to lift 10‑20 pounds infrequently.
  • Ability to talk on the phone and use the computer for extended periods of time may be required.
Environmental Exposure
  • May involve exposure to moderate noise levels from printers, faxes, computers, etc.
Overnight Travel
  • Work may require out‑of‑town travel depending upon assignment (training and meeting). 10%.
