RoleWSD's Customer Services Division is currently seeking a Treasury Collections Representative. This is a dynamic role for a detail‑oriented professional who thrives on problem‑solving and independent decision‑making. You'll handle complex collections for water service accounts (including water, wastewater, and refuse), requiring expertise in:
- Bankruptcy administration
- Liens and skip tracing
- Collection litigation

Ideal Candidate- Strong written communication skills, including proper sentence structure, punctuation, and grammar, for accurately documenting debtor accounts in computerized systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with the public in high‑pressure situations, both by telephone and in person, to resolve and collect delinquent accounts.
- Ability to learn through oral instruction, observation, and reading; comprehend City and State Codes, official correspondence, and departmental policies and procedures; and collaborate effectively with other City employees and the general public.
Pay Range: $26.18 to $35.08 per hour.
Hiring Range: $26.18 to $28.86 per hour.

- Two years of experience as a collector for a financial institution or loan company.
- Some college coursework in accounting, finance, or business administration.

- At least one year of experience in utility collections.
- Background providing customer service in a fast‑paced environment, both over the phone and in person.
- Hands‑on experience with Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) systems.
- Previous utility industry experience.
- Accounts Receivable and reconciliations experience.
- Experience processing, maintaining, and auditing confidential documentation.
- Experience conducting research and performing audits.
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
