Strategic Sourcing Specialist
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034 (Hybrid – 3 days on-site / 2 days remote)
Employment Type
: 6 Month Contract with possibility for extensions, (W2 Contract)
Pay Rate: $35.00 – $42.00 per hour (based on experience)
Work Schedule
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday
- Working Model: Hybrid (3 days on-site / 2 days remote)
BEPC is seeking experienced Strategic Sourcing Specialists to support project-based sourcing initiatives for a high-performing supply chain organization. This role focuses on executing sourcing strategies, leading supplier negotiations, maintaining contract and compliance documentation, and supporting global supply base initiatives aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs) and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
The ideal candidate brings strong negotiation skills, sound business judgment, and hands‑on experience working with ERP systems in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities Commodity Management & Contract Execution- Lead supplier negotiations and manage supplier relationships
- Draft and manage sourcing‑related documents including NDAs, Unilateral Letters, Novations, Assignments, and Assumptions in collaboration with Legal and Contracts teams
- Review contract amendments to ensure accuracy and compliance prior to execution
- Prepare and submit comprehensive compliance packages, including:
- Extended Terms Requests (ETRs)
- Supplier scorecards and FAIRS data
- SAP updates (MOQ, pricing, contract validation, VMI)
- Fair and Reasonable Price Justifications (FRPJ)
- Manage RFQ packages, including drawing retrieval and distribution
- Process vendor and material master data changes
- Validate part demand and analyze historical receipt data
- Upload, track, and maintain documentation in contract management systems
- Initiate Should Cost Estimates (SCE) and pull supporting platform data
- Resolve purchase order (PO) and supplier portal issues
- Support and analyze CID and BAA content for strategic sourcing insights
- Proven experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Contract Management
- Strong negotiation skills and business acumen
- Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Familiarity with eSourcing platforms
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, or project management principles
- Professional certifications in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Contract Management
