Verde is looking for a Proposal Writer to help drive growth, win new business, and bring the Verde story to life. This Proposal Writer role blends proposal development, corporate communications, and brand storytelling to support sales, marketing, and business development initiatives.

The Proposal Writer plays a critical role in responding to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), creating compelling written content, and maintaining a consistent, engaging brand voice across multiple platforms.

As a Proposal Writer at Verde, you will:

• Lead the development, writing, and submission of Requests for Proposal (RFPs), RFIs, and RFQs, ensuring compliance with all formatting and submission requirements
• Write clear, concise, and persuasive proposal content aligned with client requirements and Verde's brand voice
• Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, and subject matter experts to gather technical, operational, and sustainability-related content
• Create and edit content for marketing materials, email campaigns, press releases, award submissions, white papers, and training documents
• Maintain and elevate Verde's brand voice ("Verde Vibes") across proposals and communications
• Develop social media and campaign copy that supports new business growth
• Edit and proofread internal and external communications for grammar, clarity, and consistency
• Support new business presentations and quarterly business reviews using company-approved templates
• Assist with light design coordination to ensure final deliverables are visually aligned with brand standards

• Minimum 2 years of professional or corporate writing experience (proposal writing experience strongly preferred)
• Proven experience responding to RFPs or complex business proposals
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, client-focused messaging
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Power Point ; familiarity with Adobe Suite preferred
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations teams
• Writing portfolio or samples required

• B2B marketing or sales enablement writing
