-owned manufacturer specializing in custom cable bundling, wire harness protection, and engineered component shielding solutions. Founded in 1957, we support mission-critical applications across Aerospace, Defense, Medical, Automotive, Space, and Industrial markets. With a team of approximately 50 employees, Zippertubing offers the stability of a long-standing manufacturer with the agility of a small, collaborative company. We design and produce highly customized, niche solutions for our customers and our Executive Operations Coordinator will play a critical role in delivering the precision, responsiveness, and quality our customers rely on.
This is not a traditional Executive Assistant role. While the position involves executive support, the primary focus is on special projects, data gathering, operational coordination, and follow-through across departments. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a manufacturing environment.
The Executive Operations Coordinator will work to support executive and operational objectives across departments, focusing on special projects, data coordination, and cross-functional follow-through.
Responsibilities- Executive & Operations Support:
Partner closely with the General Manager to support day-to-day operational priorities; assist with preparation of reports, presentations, and internal communications; and track action items, deadlines, and deliverables across departments to ensure follow-through.
- Special Projects & Data Coordination:
Support cross-functional projects by gathering, organizing, and summarizing data; assist with operational reporting related to production, quality, staffing, or performance metrics; conduct basic data analysis and prepare summaries to support decision-making; coordinate project timelines and status updates.
- Process & Administrative Support:
Help document processes, workflows, and procedures as needed; maintain organized records, files, and documentation; support internal meetings by preparing materials, capturing notes, and tracking outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Serve as a point of coordination between leadership and internal teams; work with Engineering, Operations, Sales, HR, Accounting, and Production teams as needed to support business initiatives.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to meet ITAR employment requirements.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Operations, Administration, or related field (Field Preferred or Equivalent Experience).
- 3+ years of experience in an executive support, operations coordination, project coordination, or administrative role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and basic reporting (Excel proficiency required).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and handle confidential information.
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment is a plus.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the role will involve working in a multi-occupancy office environment with face-to-face customer interactions and some work on the production floor near machinery. The role may involve exposure to airborne particulates, moving mechanical parts, vibrations, and loud environments. This position is partially sedentary; some filing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and occasional climbing or bending may be required during the shift.
The typical shift is 8–10 hours, with standard office equipment used daily, including computers, phones, and printers.
