Position: Executive Assistant I - Clinical Ancillary Services

This position is responsible for providing administrative support for the Directors of Medical Imaging and Respiratory/Rehabilitation Services and management staff of Imaging, and Respiratory/Rehabilitation. Duties may include clerical assistance with correspondence; assistance with Hospital Board activities; secretarial support; and routine office-related functions, as well as the ability to take initiative to ensure productivity, organization, and completion of assignments efficiently and within established time frames.

Pay Rate

$22.19 - $32.73

Qualifications Education
  • Requires a High School diploma or GED.
  • Prefer an Associate degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience
  • Must have a minimum of Five (5) years of Administrative Assistant or related experience providing office support/clerical work that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Prefer experience in the healthcare industry.
Specialized Training
  • Prefer New Innovations, ERAS, Excel, Word, and Blackboard training or experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Requires excellent organizational and social skills, the ability to work with professionals, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Must have initiative, ability to work through problems, and ability to multitask.
  • Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Publisher and Microsoft PowerPoint are preferred.
  • Must have excellent communication skills. Knowledge of Medical Education and databases is preferred.
  • Must be able to work effectively, cooperate and collaborate with a team as well as have the ability to work independently.
  • Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
  • Prefer knowledge of various medical terminologies.
