Position Overview
The Area Customer Service Coordinator supports daily operations across multiple client locations within the Phoenix area. This role acts as a floating support specialist, assisting with office services, mailroom operations, print services, hospitality support, and conference room management. This position is ideal for someone who is adaptable, energetic, organized, and customer-focused, with the ability to work in different environments and quickly learn site procedures.
The role reports to the Enterprise Services Manager (ESM) or Area Operations Manager (AOM).
Key Responsibilities
Office & Mailroom Services
Perform mailroom operations including sorting, distributing, shipping, and receiving packages
Support fleet and equipment management tasks
Assist with office supply distribution and inventory management
Print & Reproduction Services
Work in reproduction or copy centers performing printing and finishing tasks
Operate document production and finishing equipment
Ensure quality control for completed print jobs
Conference & Hospitality Services
Set up and break down conference rooms for meetings and events
Provide reception and hospitality services when required
Coordinate meeting room logistics and supplies
Operational Support
Provide coverage for multiple client sites due to absences, training, or workload demands
Assist with onboarding and cross-training of team members
Support service implementations and operational improvements
Conduct site inspections to ensure safety and service standards
Customer Service
Maintain a customer-focused service environment
Respond to client requests and resolve service issues
Escalate concerns to management when needed
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 12 months of related work experience
Post-secondary education preferred
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation required
Ability to travel 40-50 miles between accounts when necessary
Required Skills
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
Basic math and problem-solving skills
Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office and file management
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Long periods of standing, walking, bending, and reaching
Frequent travel between multiple sites
Occasional pushing or pulling equipment up to 400 lbs on wheels
Work Schedule
Typically Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Schedule flexibility required
Some locations may operate 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM or weekends
Additional Information
Daily travel between locations is required
Personal vehicles must be used (Ricoh or customer vehicles are not permitted)
Parking may not be free at all locations, but reimbursement is provided when applicable
