About The Position

As the Acquisition Management Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Acquisitions Division (ACQ) and report directly to the Right of Way (ROW) Supervisor. In this role, you will serve as an essential partner in coordinating and streamlining division processes that support property acquisition efforts for both the Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). the Flood Control District (FCD).

You will work alongside a dedicated team of Right-of-Way professionals to help ensure projects move forward efficiently and in accordance with established procedures. Through organization, communication, and process coordination, you will contribute to the successful delivery of infrastructure projects that benefit communities across Maricopa County. We Require
  • Two years of experience providing real‑estate clerical/administrative support for public agency or utility company acquisition and disposition programs, property management programs, and/or title examination/escrow transactions, or a related field
  • Associate’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a closely related field
  • An equivalent combination of relevant post‑secondary education and/or job‑related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year‑for‑year basis
Other Requirements

Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona driver’s license by the time of hire.

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business administration or a closely related field.
  • Three years of work experience in any of the following: public sector acquisition or disposition of real estate and real property rights, title and escrow services, and/or real property appraising/assessing
  • Experience providing administrative support to management and project teams
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
