# Hourly Pay Range: $17.54 - $25.87 # Qualifications
Education:
Requires a high school diploma or GED.
Experience:
Prefer one (1) year experience in a Staffing Office or equivalent. Pursuant to Arizona Administrative Code R9-10-306 CHAPTER 10 of the Dept. of Health Services, personnel must be at least 21 years of age or at least 18 years of age#and licensed or certified under A.R.S. Title 32 and providing services within the personnel member#s scope of practice. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Effective organizational skills are required to adapt to an ever-changing environment, establish priorities while working under time constraints, and coordinate a variety of projects. Requires critical thinking skills to balance needs with available resources. Requires excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English. Bilingual is preferred. Must be able to demonstrate competencies in various computer applications, including MS Excel and Outlook.
Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required to collaborate with all levels of staff.
Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the Staffing Office Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring safe and effective patient care by coordinating in-house staffing for patient care providers through the Float Pool and Nursing Registry vendors. This position also provides essential administrative and operational support to Nursing Administration, contributing to efficient daily operations.
