Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is actively seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a 3-4 month full-time temporary position (covering a leave of absence) in North Phoenix, Arizona. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adept at managing a variety of tasks related to accounts payable functions.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices with precision and ensure accurate GL coding.
- Perform 2 and 3-way matching for invoices to maintain consistency and accuracy.
- Set up and maintain vendor accounts efficiently and accurately.
- Reconcile credit card statements and ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Utilize Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUP for data analysis and reporting.
- Support other financial tasks as needed to maintain smooth operations within the department.
- Proven experience in accounts payable roles with a strong emphasis on accuracy and detail.
- Experience with ERP systems like Deltek is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Excel, specifically with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes and systems.
The position requires full-time hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 100% in-office.
Benefits
The position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $26.00 to $28.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
